I thought this would be a great item to have, both at home and on the boat. I have 2 of these, well worth the money. It charges your car, truck, boat battery, and it maintain it's charge for up to a year. It also has AC/DC, so you can even plug in a fan, a house light and yes, even your " Fillet Knife" !!!
I bought mines off of QVC for $ 109.96 or 5 payments of $ 21.99.
www.QVC.com Yes, it even has a light on it as well !!!

Do any of the other chargers mentioned above have a "AC/DC" input ? Just think, when bad weather hits, and your electricity goes out you can plug in a small fan, or a floor lamp to it. You can also plug your fillet knife to it where ever you are, don't have to wait till you get to the marina.

Can I use those things to charge my trolling motor battery overnight while camping out?

Doesn't look like they do.

I have a generator at home and a non motorized fillet knife for when times get tough. roflmao

That is a nice feature, but I wanted the most portable power possible since my Optimax takes some serious cranking amps when I forget to plug it in to charge.

I was just thinking about posting on this very topic when I came upon this. I hadn't heard about these until about a week ago but am definitely planning on getting one for the boat as well as one for each car.

Believe it or not, got in my SUV to go back to work after lunch today, battery was dead. I hooked the HALO to it and 5 seconds later, I was back in business. I know a lot of guys don't believe that they will work, but they definitely work. Get one for the wife/daughter/girlfriend and they will love you for it. And they do come in Cammo colors as well..... I bought one for each vehicle, the boat and my daughter. The wife and daughter loves them, for they have had to use them already as well.
