Our final CAT Meeting of the year is Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the Carrollton Public Library at the intersection of Josey and Hebron in Carrollton. The meeting is open to the public and will start at 7 p.m., but the doors will open at 6. Our Seminar this month is entitled Waypoints/Trails Management Made Easy and will be presented by Jimmy Leonard.

Do you have to scroll through hundreds or thousands of waypoints and trails to locate the waypoint or trail desired? Do you know how to store helpful waypoint information? Do you know how to show pictures on your fish finder? Does it seem your sonar/GPS unit is getting slower (it probably is)? Do you understand computer software mapping tools? Do you know where to get map tools for free? These are just some of the technical difficulties we face as anglers in the new technology age.

Jimmys Seminar will help you learn how to execute and overcome these overwhelming technical obstacles. Useful insider tidbits will also be shared. This will be an interactive session. Attendees are encouraged to bring their wireless-enabled laptops/tablets, sonar/GPS units, etc., along with a power cord, mini-battery and extension cord. The library is Wifi-enabled. Your brand of sonar/GPS unit doesnt matter. Jimmy will be using a Lowrance unit, but will do a live demonstration using a Humminbird and PC combination for the viewing audience. Jimmy will also be available to assist your individual situation as time permits.

We hope to see you at what promises to be a very informative CAT Seminar!

NATIONAL OVARIAN CANCER COALITION
Team Reeve is fishing to bring awareness to ovarian cancer. This is a silent killer and everyone needs to know that a woman's yearly exam does not diagnose this cancer. If you feel like helping this cause contact me or give to the NOCC/Team Reeve. Also contact me with questions on symptoms!
