Fishing has been steady. Kept 41 this morning on our trip. Early I target brush/timber in 6-10' water then move out to 14-18' water once the sun gets up. Most fish are holding right on the bottom late morning thru early afternoon. White/chart jigs tipped with cut shad or half a minnow has been the ticket for me. Mid to lower lake has been better for me then north end lately. I'm really struggling up north to find a consistent bite. The early bite is really aggresive. They will jerk your tip off if you put it in front of one but once the sun gets up they really don't seem to want to bite. Some days its patience and a little natural bait that makes the difference. Later in the afternoon they will suspend back up some and get after it a little more. Good luck and if I can help out just contact me. Text is best way to reach me. I have a couple openings this coming week also.
Check out my facebook page for pictures from each trip.
