Last week the fishing was great everyday. It's surprising how well the bite in the middle of the day in the heat. We caught all of our fish on timber in 11-22 ft of water. Nothing has changed in the way that I've been fishing at all. This cooler weather this week is giving us a glimpse of fall and that great fall bite! They're eating so far this week!! With the fall, for me, comes dove hunting, and then deer hunting. I will still be fishing full time through September. But I will also be really busy with dove hunting as well in September. This weather is going to so awesome. This cool weather is what brings the big girls out along with the big numbers. I've been out of town for a couple of days but Friday its on! I still have some openings left for now. Not many afternoons, but the mornings I do have some availability.
