I have a chest freezer in the garage that is older & I would hate to open it up one day and find a bunch of bad crappie in it.
Does anybody use or have a freezer alarm to let them know if there freezer quits working?
It has an external light so you can tell it is getting power, but still doesn't mean it's cooling.

Good idea..wish I would have had one. I was sick over losing all the bags of crappie filets and darn near half a side of beef.

Great idea. I am always about mitigating risks.
I had a freezer go out on me in my garage over the summer. Not only was I sick because of the fish I had lost, the smell and black water coming out of it was the worst thing I think I have ever smelled.
