My father was saying he was told that the crappie move north in the summer time. Now I wouldn't be against that but it seems like the docks and water are so much shallower. Anyone fish up north with any luck right about now?

I've got a dock on the north side and caught a decent amount this past weekend, but my dock is in around 15 foot of water and they were holding deep
