New to the site and just getting back on the water after many years. want to get my 6yo son & 4yo daughter into fishing . Are there any LOP Crappie guys on here?

 I chase them occasionally. I will be crappie fishing more after this month. This is my month to chase ditch pickles until the KYKX tourney is over. The crappie are deep in the woods right now. I saw a ton of fish being caught at the spillway discharge a couple weeks ago. 18" under a slip cork in the main channel.

Do the spillway every once in a while. Saving pennies for boat one day, then will get to know LOP up close and personal!!
