As I am putting up all my hunting gear and getting my crappie gear back in shape for the year, I noticed I am finally low on plastics after my last big order a few years ago. I have plenty of hair jigs that I tie myself but sometimes I like using plastics. Last time I purchased plastics was when Thump Buddies JUST came out.

What new plastics do yall prefer and like? I will be placing a big order sometime this week, the creeks are calling my name fish

Thermocline lures makes a nice plastic as well as constant pursuit it's a toss up between the two for me!! Both have one con and one advantage in my opinion!! I carry both at all times lol!!

I like Rocky Top's.

If we concentrated on the really important stuff in life,
there'd be a shortage of fishing poles

Hey z7, if the last time you bought plastics was when Thump Buddies just came out, I need to send you a sample of our new stuff. I've learned a lot since 2010 and my baits are now scented, UV enhanced and extremely durable. PM me your address and I'll send you some our our new models and colors if you like.

I've just given away all of my plastics except these:

(and a box of Lil Rascals not shown)...

I fish hand tieds a large majority of the time and have so many CPO and Crazy Angler baits, I'm set. Haven't tried Thermocline or Bonehead but they'd be next on my list. I stopped using big brand names because Lane can create any color I want and his baits don't tear up like softer plastics. If Robert offered custom color baits, I'd have a mess of those, too.

My favorite plastic is Lane's White Hot Thump Buddy. I fish finesse techniques mostly and for that reason prefer Crazy Angler Lil Rascals over Slab Bandits and usually cut Thump Buddies to a smaller size/profile. Acid and Easy Money are my favorite Lil Rascals.

When you do make a purchase, I'd advise storing them properly and making sure the environment is stable (not too hot or cold). I have Thup Buddies from 3-4 years ago (Lane was scenting my baits even back then) and when you open the boxes today, they still knock your socks off with the heavy garlic and shad smells. Just take care of the plastics, avoid heat, and they'll last longer than most believe.

Hope this helps.

Plastics from Crazy Angler, Thermocline Lures and Constant Pursuit Outfitters are all I need to catch anytime. Quality, color selection, and customer service are the best to be found bar none.

Purple is back, I am sure you know it comes back every 12 to 18 years and stays for 3-4 years. We do have one new local in crappie jig making and that is Lake Fork Tackle I think he has 3 jigs now and they are all Shad just 3 types of Tails. But, so for I sure like them. Lane, Robert, And Todd and Belinda all have great jigs just the movement and color you want that you have to look for. The big thing with color is the two color jigs that run all of the way to end of tail with both colors. Even on the white and lights the ones that use flash to make it two color is hot.
I will be doing a order this week but it for those like puddle jumpers, stump jumpers, jokers, tubes and also hooks so it will go to Chuck and Debs out of Ohio as no one here carry them.

Wow, awesome offer. I would appreciate that a lot! I will be sending you a PM shortly. All I have used besides my own jigs were the white hot and dirty deed.

I cant remember how many limits I caught on just those 2 colors.

What are some of yalls favorite colors? I will be fishing Lavon mostly but will be trying to find them on Fork, Cedar Creek, Palestine, Navarro Mills and Bardwell this year. Of course I also use the typical black/chart, electric chicken, red/chart.
