I know that a lot of Crappie Anglers use Hand Tied Jigs and prefer them to plastics so My question is "what line( mono,floro,Braid) is best for this type presentation & which knot is preferred for the best action"?

I use mono, and use a duo snap so I can change colors or type of jig easily....

braid to floro leader, then tie the jig on with a Huckabee knot

I use the same on everything. Braid around cover mono in open water use loop knot if casting has better action I think and polamar for braid.

for whats its worth Mr. H,I do what Gamblinman does,I think its called a loop knot.
