I was looking for some places to get some stress free fishing in that are fishing well and another member mentioned Bridgeport crappie being pretty hot right now. Never did get any more info than that. I'm not much of a crappie fisherman so I'm not sure what they are doing at any time of year much less THIS time of year. But the doctor did prescribe fishing to help relieve some stress until I have my next surgery so.....where in that expanse of water should I begin looking for them? What are they biting on? Not looking for a honey hole but more a place for me to begin my search.....?

I haven't been this year, but in the past I've found them under the deeper brushed out boat docks on the main lake. I have also done well fishing up the river towards wise county park, in the backs of the small cuts and coves. I have heard that the water is still stained up pretty good. Good luck!
