Well I have been posting my reports on Fork when things have been good. So I thought it is only right I post when things are not so good and this is one of them times. Went down and fished Saturday in the wind and rain and I think I had 10 to show my efforts, it was very hard and frustrating with the wind and rain. About 4 O'clock the wind got up around 20+ and I called uncle. Got up Sunday and went to Shorty's for some breakfast and hit the water. No wind, sunny and 29 degrees. Fished 8-12 and not one fish. Put boat in storage and went home to a hot bowl of chili and a fire. Very very tough for me. Water was 48-49 degrees tried 27-47 fow.

Hey Ranger1,

I feel you pain on Saturday! We fished Fork on Saturday and it was tough! I caught 1 crappie and my partner found 7. We marked fish but they appeared to be Sand bass. Sure glad it was sunny and not windy! Had enough for dinner! OMG

That's why, when I met you, I said "you're going fishing???" loco_2 I'm just not that mad at 'em anymore.

I am looking for my first crappie for 2016. I guess you have to go fishing before you can expect to catch anything. Bad for the people not catching at Fork right now but At least I don't have to look at pictures full of fish wishing I could get away. Good fish Todd, hope to be caught up in a couple of weeks.
