Anyone here on the forum ever fish Lake Tyler for Crappie? I live close enough but always end up
On Palestine. I just wondering if it's worth going there for the crappie. Thanks in advance

It is an excellent lake for crappie, channel cat, and bass. There are brush piles on every point.

I fished the dam for crappie with minnows didn't get a bit so moved to deep water in front of sandy beach and caught several. One crappie weighted 2.5 lbs .Which part is better for crappie old or new lake and where are the best places

Find brush piles that are holding fish with your electronics. Those are the best places.
