For the land bound folks in my area - The barge/marina at JoPo are open as of this morning. The lake is slowly rising still but I think it may be clearing up regardless. Clarity at the barge (not main lake) was a little over foot. I was there for about 2.5 hours and caught 9 crappie and 2 bass. Bite was better than I expected but they had no size.

But the thump felt good.

Also caught my first mohawk. All caught on a black/chart jig.

Temp walkway to marina - Be careful in the morning...The planks are covered in frost in some places.

This is what the water looked like.

Mohawk.

thanks for the report, I assumed they were closed. Were you moving the jig at all or just letting it sit there?

I was just walking the jig along the rails very slowly with an occasional twitch.
