I rarely post but I realized few threads often help the land-locked crappie chasers, so for you all:I found 6 keepers and 5 or so throw backs today at the Hi-View marina using the bobby garland blue thunder with a 1/16 oz chartruese sickle hook jig head. Biggest 3 between 1.1 and 1.4 lb out in the open air boat slips. All fish were caught near the bottom about 8-10 ft deep around brush between 10 am and 1 pm. I also saw two or three keepers caught on a pinch head minnow, two on a blue and white tube jig, and a handful caught with sea monkey colored jig by lily pad jigs (I think). I hope this helps!
