As they were all on the fly rod I shared there but thought I would pass them along two weeks in a row I have killed them. Caught 50 in an hour and a half last week and a dozen more right before I jumped in my tree. This week was just as crazy. My buddy went with me just to fish after I climbed out of the stand I ask if he had tried the crappie yet he said no I've been fishing for bass I've only caught two. Grabbed my fly rod and headed for the dock had three before he could walk there from the truck (50yards). We hit them hard for four hours it was not long before I said do not throw another one up on the bank to go on the stringer I've got enough fish to fillet lol. I did not keep a fish last week and let them all go I caught heck from my parents for not getting them a few messes of fish. They just could not stand a pink and white clouser minnow it out fished my buddy using real minnows. We have called several 3 pound plus Crappie over the years there I pulled one up to the surface that was definitely there that pulled off and just a few minutes later I pulled another one that would have definitely hit the four pound mark and then pop there went pinky. After taking a lot of line and getting it and mostly back that Fish came up on top and flopped around like a cow stuck in the mud lol. Oh well what can you say I cannot complain about the last two weeks I've had some fantastic scenery while I was hunting and had even more fantastic fishing life is good!

Need to pull some of my camera pics seeing a ton of bucks but not the two I know were still walking during doe only season yet. Had one pic with six bucks in it all very young and all with decent antlers already. I'm more of a doe hunter but I see one of the big boys with my bow I may have to let an arrow fly lol. I should have weighted the biggest one but I was so beat by the time I got home They just got filleted and thrown in the freezer lol.

Yea they fought like crazy only had trou tippet on me so was fishing 6x that figures to 3.2 lb test lol. Idk why the odd numbers. She crappie killer only had camera up two days no shooters on camera in that time but a lot of bucks actually more bucks than does really got the ratio just right around 1 to 1 may even be a little tilted to bucks. pretty amazing way to spend a day early and late hunt and crappie slugfest all afternoon. Even had first year deer come in last year that already had 8 points. Little eights but lot of potential. Going to hit the slabs again next Wednesday. Thought about Sunday but after 24 hours work today and tomorrow may never wake up lol
