Going on my annual trip to LOTP on the 11th we Bass fish by day and go Crappie fishing at night. We are far more proficient at Bass fishing than Crappie ,we tie off under a bridge and put lights out.I mostly use a lead head jig with a minnow hooked through it's side,I start about 6 inches off the bottom and work my way up.We do alright but nothing spectacular, any advice on how to improve my catch would be appreciated. Thanks

brought back memories when you spoke of fishing at night.i'd say you are on the right track.i'd put out 3 rods at different depths.whichever one starting catching the most i'd set the others at the same depth.what you're doing sounds good too.
