Weird bite today for me. Kept 16. Caught around 40. Fish weren't very aggressive. Most just barely tapped it and sat there.

I think we caught about 70,40 were 9" 9 1/2" others were babies and kept 20 smallest kept was 11 1/2", bite was weird for the keepers, most just tapped it and you would notice the slack in your line and that was it, prob missed another 10 keepers, calm day on Roberts , like glass, big ones love the drop shot minnow

Nice! Would you mind sharing how you rigged the technique you were using?
Thanks!

Drop shot huh! I was wondering the other day if a drop shot rig would work. Shows that no matter where you go, there you are.

Good catch!

I'm in good shape for the shape I'm in!

I had the same experience with the slack line. I had mine rigged up with a drop shot weight about 1'-1.5' below an in line swivel hook a bead above that then a willow blade and another bead then about 1'-1.5' to a barrel tied off to my braid. Worked like a charm in 30 fow dropped to 18'-20' on the brush piles. Hope this helps. I'll be out again in the morning.

We've used drop shots before. Belinda likes to fish that way
