Launched from Buck Creek about 6:15am. Fished from about 2 miles west of the railroad bridge to @ 2 miles east of the railroad bridges. Used minnows & jigs, moved about every 20 to 30 minutes. Caught 50+ "Dinks" on minnows and jigs, from the 2' off the bottom, to ~ 5'below the surface. Used minnow and jibs and caught ~~"Dinks", only one keeper ~ 2lbs +/- something. Best I could tell we were the "Feeding Crew" on the north end of Ray Bob Saturday morning. No complaints, just another enjoyable day on the water vs. being at home working in the yard. Spoke to several individuals at the Buck Creek boat ramp at we were loading out, their reports were no different than ours.

FYI, still enjoyed being of the lake and seeing the outdoor world......

Don't feel bad, all those great fishing reports at Ray Bob got me out there last week. I launched at Jordan park and went up to the coves across from wolf island. Got lots of bites and caught lots of fish. However, they were ALL 8 inch or smaller LM Bass. Doggone it, they bit just like crappie too. My slip bobber would sink slowly and I would think "it's about time" and I would pull up another small bass.

Going out there with Joeslab later this week. he knows the lake so my luck might change.

John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.

Most of the big fish are grouped up just like the dinks are. But I have learned, I can catch 5 dinks on a tree, drop back down, and catch a big one. Then I'll pull to next tree and catch 4 big ones and no dinks. The jet is to keep moving. The big ones are at the same depth the dinks are. Plus..... Everyone and their dog is fishing buck creek everyday. Go past there, it's getting hammered everyday. Try go somewhere where there aren't many boats! It'll happen! Good luck!
