I was wondering has anyone fished Lake Inks, Victor or Buchanan with any consistent luck with crappie? I have been hearing a few guys around the Kempner, Copperas Cove and Lampasas fishing tales swear the they are good crappie lakes. All comments welcomed thank in advance.

Suggest you PM koobycrappie, Kevin Kubiak, who guides on LBJ and other lakes in that area. His website is hotcrappie.com. Kevin will give you the straight skinny on those lakes for crappie fishing. I've never fished any of them for crappie, only whites and hybrids.

I have a cousin that has posted multiple limits of crappie from Buchanon on FB in the last month. He is really tight lipped about where he is catching them.

Buchanan is a good Crappie lake. Fished there with Jess, AKA pop n cork and did good. I'm sure I could do okay there also, but don't know the lake like Jess. Jess guides there and does very well.
