Since all of the others lakes are closed in dfw I had to hit Ray hubbard for a scout trip. I will say I was pleasantly surprised, didn't quite limit, but I left with 18 nice slabs. All were caught on bobby garland blue ice on a 1/16 on jig head in 14-19ft of water on brush piles.

yes and they would hit it on the fall most of the time. I tried 1/8 and they wouldn't hit it near as well.

Nice job. I planning to take the family out to Hubbard on Sunday since Lavon and Lewisville are closed. Can you give me an idea where to look.

i launched at Robertson park, but It was a zoo when I wanted to take out so I will never launch there again. Probably go with Paul jones or maybe pay for harbor bay next time.

Haha.. I know that zoo... Gotta hit the water before daylight and off by 10 AM or so.. To me, it's worth the $20 bucks to not have to deal with all that mess.
