Good news - most of the boat ramps are open on GV, including Katies Woods. Yesterday's fishing was very slow. Some small sand bass, and a couple drum, but no crappie! Water was still badly stained.

I caught one keeper and about two dozen dinks so small, they don't deserve to be called dinks, more like tinks, tiny dinks. All fish were caught around dock brush, about ten foot down. Color didn't matter.

I went into Denton, Marshall, and the creek down from marshall, not one bite, I don't think the crappie are going to run these creeks this year after all the influx of water, we caught quite a few out of Denton before the big rise.

I was hoping there would be a little improvement this weekend. Guess not.

Had to stop by the marina and mess with the charger on the boat. Decided to drop a jig for 5 minutes. This is the definition of a dink!
