 Question about creeks

The lake I fish has a well defined creek that goes back into a big slough. That water is still about 4-7 ft deep back there. What's the chances of there being crappie up there? It's a long boat ride back there.

look for bends in the creek and a steep bank the water will be deeper there watch your water temp on your home lake .... they will go up there with the bait in the mid 40 range maybe even upper 40 range .... I have managed quite few fish lately in pretty shallow water say less than 12 foot to as little as 6 foot good to see you posting again ... KABOOM
