The absolute best time of year to catch crappie. It's kid proof. In fact, most of my trips this week I had 13 year olds or younger and they all caught fish consistently. The fish are settled in in their summer patterns so it's been great! If you were looking to get in on some fun fishing with opportunities at some really big crappie, now is the time!
