Fish have moved a bit down the major creeks toward the spawning coves. Water temp was 67�. Fish were hanging in creeks suspended on timber 10-15ft deep. They were biting pearltruse Slab bandits.

It changes constantly. I�ve been having to run it with noise rejection on Low (which I don�t like to do). Contrast hovers between 30-45.

I find that on lakes with soft bottoms, I have to crank the contrast way up, and sens down, on my humminbirds, not used to the my elite 5 yet though. im running an elite 5 for DI only on console. just not getting near as good target separation as yours is showing.

ive been running my contrast at 72, thinking the sensitivity was automatic . This unit is confusing because when you go to set sensitivity, the contrast screen pops up. I have always thought that sensitivity and contrast were 2 distinctly different things. as they are seperate tuning options on most units. at least now I know that a good return can be obtained, once I sort out the settings.evidently lowrance sees the sensitivity and contrast as being inextricably intertwined and no need to seperate the settings or am I missing something here.
