I know that when fishing with the tubes that collard is used but when it comes to the solid bodies whaddaya' like? OR at the end of the day just use the dental floss/super glue and be done with it....what say you?

I use strictly no collar. If you're fishing a soft bait, a collar may be useful though.

Yeah but your baits are pretty firm and tough as nails wink pretty rare a short striking, tail nibbling bream pulls your skirt down. Thanks Lane....BTW what do your jig heads run? Looked at the site today and was going to give you a call...

I use collared jigheads. Slide the tube up on it a couple of times then apply super glue to the lead.
