If I'm fishing in an area where little to no light is present, I'll go with black and chartreuse. If I'm fishing around white dock lights, I'll usually go white and chartreuse first.

Did well at the boat slip last year at night. They ate his ^dark green little froggie

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Just like during the day... it can change. I have had great luck with white/silver metal flake, Mo Glow, black/chartreuse.

This time of the year. Might the bite be aggressive or are we using deadsticking?

If you are fishing green lights, I would suggest clear with lots of silver flake...for white overhead lights, white or white/chartreuse or white/clear silver flake...never had much luck with the glow in the dark type baits, personally. If you are fishing an underwater night light that is white (near a dock). A white little fishie (small size) can be a fish slayer.

In near total darkness, with a good moon overhead, black/pink or black/chart, Works ok...Anymore, I seldom fish in total darkness though, as I have green LEDs running the length of my boat...just saying.
