Friday's trip was a little different. David called and wanted to learn how to tournament fish on timber. Next year David is going to start fishing Crappie Anglers of Texas. We fished submerged timber and visible timber on Lake Fork. The bite is good on Lake Fork right now. David got his limit and caught some really nice slabs but threw those back.
I really enjoy these trips were people are wanting to learn.
Today was Terry and Eli, these guys are bass fisherman. They won a trip I gave away. Today on Lake Palestine the bite was slow and hard to get a bite. Fish are there just didn't want to play. Only thing you could do was run and gun. But we stuck it out and ended the day with a two man limit, 50 crappie! Nothing we needed the net on just good eating fish.
Enjoyed my day with these two. I think their eyes were open to the world of crappie fishing!
Several openings are still available this month. Give me call if you are interested in crappie fishing.
