A friend just texted me that he was in Austin visiting his son, and asked me if I knew where they might go to catch catch some fish. I have no idea... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

From what I understand Lady Bird Lake right where 35 goes over it is a pretty good carp spot.

Granger Lake has a nice fishing pier at Fox Park. Lake Pflugervile has nice fishing pier. Brushy Creek Lake is a nice place to bank fish.
