Ray Roberts was really good this week! And it was super busy! The full moon this week really brought out some bigger fish. Lots of dinks being caught to go along with the keepers. Timber fishing is by far in my opinion the way to catch better fish on a consistent basis. Some days you can catch them really good in 10 ft of water, the next day they might be better in 28ft of water. You MUST keep moving to keep catching fish. Minnows are slowly starting to take over being the better way to catch fish. Jigs are still performing well. Bonehead stump bugs are my bait of choice. Had a lot of great people out this week and I really enjoyed fishing with them all! Looking forward to this week. As of now I have Tuesday morning, Thursday morning, Thursday evening and Saturday morning available for trips this week. And more stuff in the next few weeks.
