Lake Palestine | Four Man Limit I've had a lot of blessed guide trips. But today tops the cake. The good Lord showed out today for us. Corey and sons Ross and Caleb booked a full day trip for Joe's retirement celebration. I've never seen an 8 year old who loved to fish as much as Caleb. It was a little hard for him at first, so i set the depth for him and gave him the rod and told him to jerk when i tell you. Before long he had it down and was slinging slabs in the boat. I bet this little guy boated 40 fish by himself. Had a great time with this family. They got to make some memories with their dad and grandfather. Thank you guys for making one of my goals setting a four man limit, 100 crappie! Half fish were caught on jigs and half caught on minnows. That is great stuff, you are blessed to have a job where you get to bring such joy into people's lives. Not sure I could filet 100 crappie any more.
