Just wanted everyone to know that when you get your new Ultrex with Link capabilities, make sure you have installed the newest software version.
I updated my Helix 9 to the new 1.35 and figured that my Ultrex would be good to go since it was so new..... WRONG!
The remote control and the control head had new software versions already.
Next question was.... how do I update?
Found out that I had to install app on my phone and pair it with my control head first.
I followed instructions step by step and low and behold the software updates were installed.
Had a little difficulty with the phone app pairing to my control head. Had to hold pairing button down a long time before it recognized it.
I'm no electronics guru for sure, but if I can do it, anyone can!
One other thing, go to settings on the remote menu, and make sure to turn the "PROP AUTO ON" to the on position.
Long story short, this needs to be on for certain functions to operate correctly!
Ready to go out and test and to do the last thing on list which is to calibrate the heading sensor.
