My brother and I got out yesterday about 10:30 and the wind was brutal. We tried to fish a couple timber spots but it wasn't happening. The wind forced us to fish protected piles that did not produce well early. We went back to some late afternoon and they were giving up a few. We brought home 17 keepers and I cat, and threw back around 10 unders. Fish were deeper than I expected. The ones we did find on timber were suspended around 17' and the deeper piles in about 14-16' produced best just off bottom. Tough day for us but we had a good time. All fish caught on Southern Jig Co. jigs in all different colors. I think we lost more jigs than we caught fish due to boat control issues with the wind bang so we were going through the box quickly. Best producers were probably my new Kill Spot Shad, Bold, and Minner, but probably because we lost the others before they could produce roflmao. I don't think color mattered much yesterday. If you could find them (and stay on them) they would bite. Sorry we slacked on pictures

Nice haul. That wind can be brutal. Good job on rough conditions. thumb
