Tried a different lake today. Went to Lake Athens found some brush piles that were holding fish. Jig had to be at 14 foot to be hit, didn't matter if brush piles were in 25ft of water. All fish caught on Crazy Angler Tackle Lil Rascal - Revelation color. Lake Athens has some BIG black crappie on it. Give it a try! Caught a bunch of fish kept 12 for the grease.
