Going to spend a few days on Lake Palestine and looking for suggestions on good RV parks. I've learned in the past not to put a lot of trust in RV park websites. Palestine Resort advertises waterfront sites, does anyone have any feedback on this place? Thanks for any help you can give.

I don't have an rv or camper, but live about five minutes from there. they stay full all the time, have two ramps, store. there are two more rv parks, the villages and one on flat creek. the resort is nicer. if you are a brookshire employee they have a campground on the south end of the lake that is nice.

Palestine resort is nice IMO. Ramp gets crowded on weekends mainly in the afternoons from the party crowds. They usually have a band playing on the back porch Friday and Sat nights and the food is good. Mushroom Swiss burger is my norm. Drive up to chandler and eat at Wades place one night too. Good place to clean fish there too by the ramp just hafta tote guts out in the lake and dump em so clean fish first and load the boat second.

Enjoy!! cheers

I'm going to try them a few nights. They're a little pricey but they have full hook ups with sewer and the spot is on the water. Now, if someone would just point me in the direction of the crappie I'll be set to go.

Darrell check out Trails End RV Camp if you are wanting a month to month. They do not do the weekend crowds. We moved over there a couple of months ago from what I believed to be the best RV park on Cedar Creek and let me say Trails End is more like a resort. Great people and very accommodating place. Could not be happier!!!!!!!!! Let me know if you need more information.
