Just wondering if anyone is finding where they are. Went aways up the river last night, 23 foot depth, dropped a green light, got a decent bait ball, and zero fish. Never got completely skunked before. Suggestions appreciated. Pretty windy so got pretty wet heading back to ramp 10, which I had to search for. The light at the ramp was out. Made me appreciate how important those "beacon" lights are.

This has been the worst crappie year for me on Canyon Lake. High water in the spring scattered the fish and since then I have not found a single spot that held numbers of fish and produced regularly...

Thanks for replies. I'll try the main lake since upriver seems unproductive.
