I'm new to the area from Arkansas. Any info on fishing in the Pilot Knoll area ? Just have a small Jon boat so not setup to run the whole lake. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

You are lucky that it is spawn time and fishing close to the bank is/will be great for a month! Check out the fishing with a slip bobber YouTube videos for details. Then, look for bank areas with sandy bottoms, or gravel! Use the small Rooster tail jigs, or minnows in 1-3 feet of water (next to the bank areas). Good luck!

Night Prowler (Black/Chartreuse) and Purple Passion (Purple/Green) from Thermocline Lures are great LL colors.

They are biting good up Hickory Creek on any timber in 8-12ft of water. Jigs or minnows.

I've been fishing hickory almost daily, Bobby garland (sweet tea w/lemon) has been great but any Chartreuse combo has been the ticket and of course minnows.
