i have had a tuff time at benbook this year have not had a single bite. i think we are used to benbrook being around 8 feet low. i was launching at mustang a few weeks ago and the water level was 3 ft above normal. the ramp was completely covered in water. there was no trouble launching due to the fact that you could see brush on both sides of the ramp. one of the problems even at normal level is that most of the timber is underwater. the wind and rains have clouded the water at times and with so much water the fish have lots of new places to be. you know the fish are going to eat, i think my problem is that i have not been able to find them. oh well it will get better.

Seen your post about benbrook. It's one if the toughest lakes out there. I have been fishing joe pool and benbrook lately and have found hem on both lake shallow. Benbrook I fish rocky creek. Just keep moving until u find a bite. Fish all visible timber and grass. They are holding tight and shallow

My pops went today and ran into a few at benbrook. Glad he didn't send me the pics untill I got off work!
