Got a buddy in Archer City and he said its been pretty bad. They have been fishing kickapoo.

I fished it last Friday and had zero luck but did catch several Sandies while pulling jigs.

I am going to fish Arrowhead this weekend. Went a few weeks back and found some but they were still deep. I will post a report Sunday.

Well I have lived in Tyler for the last 2 years so I fished Palestine while I was out there. That lake spoiled me it has to be one of the best crappie lakes in Texas. Since I moved back to Wichita Falls I have been fishing PK for Striper and been to Arrowhead a few times for the Crappie. I am about to start putting the full court press on Arrowhead and try to get dialed in on the Crappie out there. I personally think this will be tough year to catch fish during the spawn due to all the structure in the shallows, but we will see what happens.

I fish out of sea foam blue 22" CC with a hard T top. If you see me out pull up an say high. I always like to meet fellow fisherman.

might try state park some this year, haven't fished it in 35 years. First fished for crappie at the state park. Would take a sleeping bag and stay most of the night.

I had no luck last weekend at the state park. Had a lot of people on the pier but didnt see anyone hook a crappie.
