Wondering if they are up shallow yet. I've pcsd back to Fort Hood from Hawaii so it's been a few years since I've been after crappie but I love to fish for them. I have a 1 yr old so fishing time is limited if y'all know any reports it would be much appreciated!!! Thanks

They have not started yet. You made it back just in time. They have not opened the boat house on BLORA. The bridge is still out. You should be able to catch them from any of the banks in about one week. I went to Stillhouse and caught 1 crappie. It was in 16 feet of water 10-11 feet down. I tried shallow but didn't get a bite. They should be doing the same there in about a week or two.

Went this morning and caught 0 crappie and probably about a dozen fingerling black bass. Should be soon.

Nothing at cedar gap today, and if they were, they didn't want minnows or jigs hammer

But it was a great day to get out on the water

I was there today as well and nothing, but small bass. I did not see anyone catching either. Did hear a lot of talk from people who's "friend" or "last week" were catching them at Stillhouse.

Huummmmm!!!!! Sounds familiar!!!!! Not much happening yet!!!! Lots of "this weekend", "couple days" on and on!! It ain't happening yet!!! No reports at the bait shop either, so you know it has not started when the liars aren't catching them!!!!! roflmao I have had a few bass guys come in to order replicas that said some of them have caught crappie(one) deep on spinner baits and plugs!
