I've fished it twice and struck out both outings on Crappie. Tried east side of I-30 bridge, brush piles in 25-35 fow, etc. Any tips or help for this time of year is greatly appreciated.

Look for any reports that Tommy Ezell posts, or if you have the funds book a trip with him. He will teach you the lake so you can fish it for many years to come. Will also give you tips after the trip if you are struggling!

The weather coupled with the tournament trail has kept me off Hubbard. TOW is key for a good report and unfortunately I've not put it in on that lake.

If it were me I'd search the timber and brush in the main lake near the dam. I'd also try the deep areas leading up to the creeks. I'm not hearing of the anglers wacking them consistently in the creeks so they must be staged up there somewhere.

Thanks guys. Yeah Tommy, I went up Rowlett creek yesterday and there was nada there. Depth finder also showed no signs of baitfish or any fish. However the water temp in the creek was about 52 vs 48 in the main lake. It appeared to me that there is a lot of submerged brush in the creek channels. I've stopped and fished quite a few piles with no luck. Fished anywhere from 30-40 FOW.
