I installed a new Helix 5 sonar gps combo on my electric boat. Every thing works beautiful. I do not have an sd card in it yet. I can mark waypoints etc fine. My question is: How do I create a route so I have a route and bread crumb trail to a waypoint? I am fishing a private lake so there is no lake map card for it. I was told that it would show up as a body of water with no contours but would do everything else. It is a 50 acre lake with man made structure of ridges, depressions, boulders, artificial trees etc. I just want to mark the various structures where the fish are and when I launch my boat pull up a way point and show a track to that waypoint. Any help will be appreciated from you experienced pros. I found fish yesterday, sat on them and caught them. I marked the spots but today I want to return to those exact spots I caught them yesterday.

You can just zoom out on your map, drive straight to the marked spot.
On a small lake I would think that's all you would need.

Put your cursor on the waypoint and hit the "goto" button and that should draw ya a line straight to it
