Went on Thanksgiving and caught 8 on minnows in 21 feet of water. Lake is high with the spillway wide open. I never do good when they have the gates open!

Visit my site bret mclendon fishing guide for reports. I'll do my best to keep them updated as much as possible.

It's been hit and miss on a good bite but it's getting better. Buddy and I went yesterday and had close to 30 in half a day. And lost idk how many.

I'm running bass and crappie trips on LOP as well for any that may be interested in booking a trip shoot me a message.

Where are all the monster white crappie? I've never caught just blacks on pines.

Comparing the little ones to the big ones, you've got some big slabs there. Isn't it about time for the crappie to move into the main body of the lake in the river channel? That pic makes me want to hook up the camper and go stay a few days.

I thought about that the other day. Idk. Seemed strange but whatever I guess. They're all delicious. Lol

I didn't pay attention to the other days we went.

They're moving around. They aren't stacked up in the main lake yet though. Just scattered

I had 17 last Thursday in about 2 hours. All were big enough to keep without the restrictions and some were 14 to 16 inches.

Went this morning. Caught 8, 2 over 15 in. I drifted in 30-36 ft deep. Just have to be at the right place at the right time since they seem to be scattered. It was a beautiful day to be on the water.
