If you enjoy catching now is the time to be on the lake. Every rock, brushpile, stump or tree is covered with 8"-9.5" fish. Catch about 20 and one or two will be a keeper. Today Pete and I caught 20+ keepers and no telling how many throwbackers. Maybe 300-400. Most active four hours I can remember recently. Next couple of years should be gangbusters. Best lure, anything that would sink with a hook in it. Can't wait for tomorrow. I have a training trip scheduled. If it's like today he will get lots of practice setting the hook.
