I checked the local forecast and winds were to be 5 miles per hour,different story at Cedar Creek.
It was a rough North wind that had me rocking and rolling.Caught fish scattered in 15 fow on pillars ....
There was no hot jig,had to switch up a lot.

I have noticed (and mentioned on here) that the crappie on Cedar Creek seem to have a reddish tint on the base of the fins and around the mouth. That picture of them laid out on the boat shows what I am noticing. Anyone else see the same thing? hmmm

Think it's just that they are dead and have possibly been on ice. I don't see that on the live catch photos.

I've seen it on Sam Rayburn crappie on ice!
