I just started Crappie fishing as well and I noticed that they bite more with the Crappie Nibbles... I still suck at the whole jig thing so I need that advantage! LOL

Maybe someone who fishes jigs a lot will step up with what they use. I can catch them here and there with a jig but mostly my limits
come using minnows.

Each lake seems to have their go to. Lately for me on CC its been black /chartreuse with 1/3 berkley nibble. BUT Roman showed me what slabslobber could do and I am a believer.

I've heard good things about this http://flefly.com/fish-attractant.html they have videos all over youtube of them catching huge crappie with it too. I have never personally used any fish attractant before, so this is just a suggestion.

What is the point of crappie nibbles? flavor? or something to go over the hook point. Crappie fishing down here is so much different than up north where you just tie on a beetlespin and go to town..

There are no fish in sonic pond EDIT: Except 1 20lb catfish

ive been using slabslobber for a little less than a year, and the main reason i use it is because it seems makes the fish hold on for just a little long on those really tough days and that gives you a better chance of getting good hook set.just my 2cents
