I had to ask my fishing partner from Sunday that very question. When they said - "I don't know" I responded - "Well if you grabbed one out of the water and rolled it up you would know!!!"

My wife wasn't happy!!!

We still had a good time catching some nice crappie.

That's why I use the Waypoint Marker system that uses a cordless drill to wind them up, she doesn't mind using it

You are brave...or lucky. If I did that to my fishing partner she would slap me out of the boat then hollar at me to get back in the boat and get her on some fish.

He tried that same line with me. I was going to cut the weights off and let them drop to the bottom so they wouldn't be so heavy.

But, then I got my line hung up in his trolling motor. He didn't like that.

OK I need more info on that ! Mutinous deck hands who also do cooking are dangerous!

I love mine!!!!Just insert the hex head into the screwdriver, push the button and it winds up.......I've done everything I can to make fishing as easy as it can be.....the less strain on my back, the longer I can comfortably fish
Not to mention that Belinda doesn't mind winding them up while I get ready to relocate

Yeah You are a brave man. I just roll them up myself to avoid conflict. If She catches fish and can take most of them off by herself, we have had a Good Day! I have to take all the Bass off, cause they Bite....lol.

And spray paint the markers black, so every boat on the lake doesn't stop to see what you are catching (while saving the location to their GPS.

I can't hide in my boat and the orange BEACON draws "Potlickers" in like Flies on Roadkill!

Man I learned a long time ago not to ask what they weight!! I haven't fiured out what to tell her yet, but the list of what not to say keeps growing and growing!!!

Something else not to do.
Took the wife fishin our first tournament few yrs back. I caught the first fish in about 2 minutes; about 10 3/4". I threw it back.
She says, wasn't that big enough.
Yeah it was but we got to have bigger fish than that.
But we don't have any in the live well.
Don't worry, we'll get some better fish.
About 1 minute later she says, "I ought to slap you."

Big storm rolls in about 9:30 and everybody is blown off the lake. We finish with 4 fish.
