Had to send my depth finder in for repairs on Monday so I tried to think of a place to go where I wouldn't need a depth finder. So I decided Limestone timber was the way to go. Fish from 9 o'clock till noon ended up with 13 Big Crappie.did so well think I'll be offering some trips on limestone and I'll be back on Waco as soon as I get my hummingbird back.

Be careful with ol Stone as DW calls it. It can be great one day, then bite you in the arse the next!
Lived within 30 minutes of it since it was impounded, and has always been mysteriously inconsistent crappie lake. If you're gonna do guide trips, you better get minnows. thumb

Oh, and nice slabs by the way!
I've seen more black crappie the past two years than ever before on that lake. Looks like you've got a few in the mix.
