Today they turned on good at about 10:30 brush in 15 -22 fow fish were holding pretty tight to brush. The bite is a very light one you gotta let them tick on it and let it load up before settling the hook. We caught 21 this morning with several in the 14" range. I have an opening this Sunday and several more days open this month. Still time to take advantage of my summertime special, $100 per person for half day trip and kids under 16 are free. Pm me for information.

Can I ask you why do some of the crappie have zip ties thru thier jaws?

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

I put them all in a cooler on ice. The zip ties are to keep track of everyone's catch. I don't keep the fish I catch unless I'm going to take my fish home for me. According to a local GW I can not give my catch away. If I have more than one client in the boat the tags are an easy way to say who caught what.
