Just got back from my Canada trip. Man was the weather nice! 50 every morning and never got over 75 all week. We wore the fish out. Caught 563 smallmouths according to the clicker and 357 northern pike. Nothing like 7 days of fishing with 4 of your best buds! I'll get some pictures posted soon. I hope everyone has been catching umm as good as I did. I'll be on the lake every Thursday and Friday in July so I'll post a couple of reports soon. Glad to be home, but dang this heat sucks!

Sounds like fun...I bet your thumb is sore from taking all of those fish off the hook, WTG 
Katchin krappie...doin surgeries(filleting)...and givin hott grease baths until krunchy and golden brown is what it's all about!!!

What lake and lodge in Canada, please? Always looking for a good smallie trip to Canada.

Welcome Home!! Glad you caught fish and had great weather. traveled to Palo Dura with Grandkids and now have them this week here. T"was hot yesterday when I checked the Raycraft...guess I will start fishing early and late.
Using the site for a while...this is really great to share fishing ideas and success with others.

WELCOME BACK!I'm truly jealous - love me some smallie action........Pound for pound, they fight harder than any other freshwater species...  Belinda & I were planning to go to Texoma to do the same this summer.....Guess we're gonna have to wait till next year  Time to change gears and get on them Pal crappie....everybody is killing them there......I'll be there on the 12th hopefully

Todd, your super frys caught me some big ol smallies too. My phone is too high resolution and I can't get my pics to upload. I'll have to work on it so I can post some on here.

If you are on a windows computer you can use your snipping tool to basically take a screen shot of just your photo. The file size is usually lower and then you should be able to upload it.
