 Memorial Day Weekend fishing near DFW?

Hey all, I'm new to TFF but not to fishing. I'm looking for someplace to try to catch a few Sunday or Monday, considering the weather and possible crowds. Anyone have advice for finding crappie? I was thinking cedar creek is the only lake in the area not to far out of banks but I've never fished there.

 CC is a good choice. Look for brush piles in 12-20 FOW. There's 4 good bridges that hold fish at times and lots of docks to shoot a jig under. Weather not looking too cooperative unless you like to fish in the rain. Good luck.
